Our client is a leading consumer electronics brand focused on high-end smart home appliances. When developing their new generation of premium bedroom and study fans, they encountered significant technical bottlenecks. Most common fan control boards on the market use traditional AC motors or square-wave BLDC control modes, which led to three major issues:

  • High Noise Levels: The commutation noise from traditional square-wave drives made it impossible to achieve a truly quiet environment, leading to increased after-sales complaints.

  • High Energy Consumption: The outdated systems could not meet the strict requirements for Level 1 energy efficiency certification.

  • Poor Low-Speed Stability: At low speeds, the motors exhibited noticeable jerking, failing to deliver the gentle "natural wind" experience expected by premium consumers.
